≤Show contents of terminal buffer:≥
If there is enough remaing manin memory, the last
50000 characters read from the port can be stored
in a special buffer.
⌠<F4>⌡ shows the contents of this buffer.
Orientation is possible by the cursorkeys,
<PgUp>, <PgDn>, <Home> and <End>.
There are three ≤screen modes≥
(use ⌠<F3>⌡ to switch):
≤1) Usual ASCII:≥
Characters are shown "as they are". There is a
new line after each ≤LF-Character≥.
#024 and #025 cursorkeys move line-by-line.
≤2) ASCII-Hex:≥
In the left part of the screen the input is
interpreted as ASCII text and the right part
shows the corresponding hexadeciaml values
(for each character).
There is ≤no≥ new line after a LF-character an
the #027 and #026 cursorkeys move by only one
character.
In each line are 16 characters.
≤3) Hex-ASCII:≥
The left screenpart shows the characters as they are
received. In the right part you see the ASCII
interpretation (if possible).
There is ≤no≥ new line after a LF-character an
the #027 and #026 cursorkeys move by only one
character.
In each line are 16 characters.
By pressing ⌠<F4>⌡ you can choose, if you want to have
a new line for each ≤CR,LF≥ (hex.: 0D 0A) pair.
≤Searching:≥
⌠<F2>⌡ (or ⌠<S>⌡) - search a ASCII string from actual
position to end of buffer.
'?' characters are allowed as wildcards.
If the search is successfull the specified string stands
in the ≤last≥ line of the screen.
≤Clear buffer≥ by ⌠<F6>⌡.
≤Save buffer to file≥ by ⌠<F8>⌡.
The files have always the extension ≤.TRM≥ and are
stored in the actual directory.
≤Restore buffer≥ by ⌠<F9>⌡.
You will get a list of all saved buffer contents.
Choose a file with the cursorkeys and <⌠<#017#196#217>⌡.
≤Quit:≥
By ⌠<F10>⌡ or ⌠<Esc>⌡ you leave the buufer-screen
and return to the usual terminal mode.
≤Complete command-summary:≥
⌠<F1>⌡ - help (this screen)
⌠<Ctrl>-<F1>⌡ - save actual screen to file
⌠<Ctrl>-<F10>⌡ - show remaining main memory
⌠#027⌡ und ⌠#026⌡ - move buffer by one character
(not in usual ASCII screen mode)
⌠#024⌡ und ⌠#025⌡ - move one line
⌠<PgUp>⌡, ⌠<PgDn⌡ - move 20 lines
⌠<Home>⌡ - start of buffer
⌠<End>⌡ - end of buffer
⌠<F2>⌡ o. ⌠<S>⌡ - search
⌠<F3>⌡ - switch screen mode:
ASCII ──> ASCII/Hex. ──> Hex./ASCII.
⌠<F4>⌡ - Toggle new line by CR LF
⌠<F6>⌡ - clear buffer
⌠<F8>⌡ - save buffer contents to textfile
⌠<F9>⌡ - restore buffer contents from textfile
⌠<F10>⌡, ⌠<Esc>⌡ - quit.
